PREAMBLE:            The Salina City Council hereby establishes its regularly scheduled city council meetings for 2018.

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Salina as follows:

 

  1. The Salina City Council will hold its regularly scheduled city council meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month during 2018 with the exception of November and December when the meeting will be held on the second Wednesday only.

 

  1. The Salina City Council meetings will be held in the Salina City Building, Council Chambers, 90 West Main, Salina, Utah, at 7:00 p.m.

 

  1. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Aurora City Council and Aurora City Planning Commission have set the times and dates for the regularly scheduled meetings for the year 2018.  Occasionally adjustment to the meetings will be made-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a rabies vaccination and licensing clinic will be held in Aurora on Saturday February 10, 2018 from 9:00 am until noon.  Location of the clinic will be at the city maintenance shed located at 263 N. 238 W. (West of the fire station).  This clinic is the only clinic that will be held this  year.  Every person owning or having charge of any dog within the corporate limits of Aurora City shall pay an annual licensing tax of $7.00 for each spayed or neutered dog and $14.00 for each non-spayed or non-neutered dog.  The fee schedule applies to animals where up to two dogs per household are maintained.  If a third dog is kept at the same household, the tax for the third dog is $25.00 regardless.  No household is permitted more than three dogs as per city ordinance.  Applications for license and payment of the tax is to be made before April 1, 2018.  Licenses can be obtained at the Aurora City office M-F 1:00-4:00 pm with proof of rabies vaccination.

Sevier School District is accepting Statements of Interest and Qualifications (SOIQ) from qualified design professional firms licensed and certified in the State of Utah, for the design, preparations of contract documents, and construction administration for the following possible projects:

 

  • Remodel and new construction of South Sevier Middle School
  • Remodel of South Sevier High School shop facility
  • Replacement and/or upgrade HVAC system for South Sevier High School
  • Replacement and/or upgrade HVAC system for North Sevier High School
  • Replacement and/or upgrade HVAC system for Pahvant Elementary multi-purpose room
  • Remodel of Monroe Elementary multi-purpose room

SUMMARY OF ADOPTION OF SALINA CITY

ORDINANCE NO. 126-2017 IN ACCORDANCE WITH

SECTION 10-3-711, UTAH CODE ANNOTATED, 1953, AS AMENDED

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 27, 2017, the Mayor and City Council of Salina adopted:

 

ORDINANCE 126-2017

 

An ordinance amending title 17 of the Salina City ordinances and specifically section 17.28.040.

 

WHEREAS, the governing body of Salina City has determined that to promote the health and welfare of its citizens it is appropriate to amend section 17.28.040 of its ordinances governing site development standards in the R-1 zone pertaining to Side yard setbacks.

 

THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Salina City Council of Salina City, Utah, that:

 

SECTION 2.   Paragraph C of Section 17.28.040 is amended to read as follows:

 

  1. Minimum yard setbacks:
