An Ordinance adding paragraph D & E of Section 10.08.020 of the Salina City Municipal Code:

 

  1. It shall be unlawful for any commercial vehicle to park upon any street in Salina City at any time.
  2. There shall be no parking on the north side of 300 North between 100 West and 200 West between the hours of 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM when school is in session (August – May). This area is reserved for school loading and unloading only.

 

 

The complete ordinance is available for review at the Salina City offices located at 90 West Main Street, Salina City, Utah on Monday – Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption and publication.

2-             NOTICE TO ALL DOG OWNERS RESIDING IN AURORA CITY, SEVIER COUNTY, UTAH

 

Notice is hereby given that a rabies vaccination and licensing clinic will be held in Aurora on Saturday,

February 4, 2017 from 9:00 am to 12:00 (noon).  Location of the clinic will be at the city maintenance shop

located at 263 N. 238 W. (West of the city fire station).  This clinic shall be the only clinic held this year.

 

Every person owning or having charge of any dog within the corporate limits of Aurora City shall pay

an annual licensing tax of $7.00 for each spayed or neutered dog and $15.00 for each non-spayed or non-

neutered dog.  The fee schedule applies to animals where up to two dogs per household are maintained.  IF

a third dog is kept at the same household, the tax for the third dog is $25.00 regardless.  No household is

permitted more than three dogs as per city ordinance.  Application for license and payment of the tax is to

be made before April 1, 2017.  Licenses can be obtained at the Aurora City Office M-F 1:00-4:00 pm.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 9, 2016, the Board of Trustees of the Local Building Authority of Salina City, Sevier County, Utah (the “Issuer”), adopted a resolution (the “Resolution”) declaring its intention to issue its Lease Revenue Bonds (the “Bonds”) pursuant to the Utah Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended and to call a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds.

 

The Issuer shall hold a public hearing on December 14, 2016, at the hour of 7:00 p.m.  The location of the public hearing is in the City Office, 90 West Main Street, Salina, Utah.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the construction of the Project to be funded by the Bonds.  All members of the public are invited to attend and participate.

This project includes the demolition of interior walls, plumbing, and electrical and a remodel of interior components.  It also includes a 10-foot addition to the pool with upgrades to mechanical components of the pool system including filtration, pumping, and chlorination systems.  It also includes expanding the pool deck area, relining the pool, and upgrading the exterior lighting system.
