The Southern Utah Junior Livestock Show will be holding the annual lamb, hog, and goat weigh-ins FRIDAY, May 5th at the Sevier County Fairgrounds from 6:30-7:30 pm.  This is a change from the past weigh-ins whereas they have always been held on a Saturday in the past.  The weigh-ins are for all youth who plan on showing one of these species in the fair.  They can sign up for 4H at weigh-ins or do it in advance on the internet.  All exhibitors must be signed up for  either 4H or FFA in their respective area.  For questions or concerns, please call Bob Miller @ 435-979-2235.  The livestock show will be held August 8th-11th in conjunction with the Sevier County Fair.   We hope to see everyone on Friday, May 5th from 6:30-8:30 pm.

I believe strongly that having control about when, where, and with whom you have a child is a big factor in the health of a person as well as their community. Half of pregnancies are unintended, which is unfortunate and avoidable. I want to make sure babies come into this world welcomed by parents that planned to have them, and are ready to raise them. Having a population knowledgeable about birth control is an important step to make sure our families stay healthy and happy. That is why I will be giving a lecture about birth control.

I want to cover the many types of birth control, how they work, how long they last, how to use them, and who you can talk to about getting access to one you may be interested in.
